Canadian Hadassah-WIZO (CHW) is Canada's leading Jewish women's philanthropic organization, founded in 1917, with centres across the country funding programs for children, healthcare, and women in Israel and Canada. A national organization with chapters in dozens of cities needed a site that could organize all of it, from national programs and regional centres to impact stories, events, and donations, and still be manageable by a small in-house team. We built it on WordPress around exactly that structure, with donation pages, event listings, and donor spotlight sections, then trained their team to run it independently. We also configured Google Analytics, so they can see which content drives engagement and donations across their national operations.

The Challenge

CHW is a national organization with chapters in cities across Canada, each running their own events and campaigns. They needed a site that could organize content for dozens of centres, showcase their programs and impact stories, accept donations, and promote events. The site also had to be manageable by a small in-house team without ongoing developer support.

Our Solution

We designed and built the site on WordPress, creating a structure that organizes content by national programs, regional centres, and impact areas like education, healthcare, and community support. We set up donation pages, event listings, and donor spotlight sections. We then trained the CHW team on how to manage content, add events, and update pages on their own. We also configured Google Analytics to give them visibility into traffic sources, page performance, and donor engagement.

Results

CHW now has a professional, well-organized website that serves as the central hub for their national operations. Their team manages the site independently, publishing events, donor stories, and program updates without developer involvement. Google Analytics gives them the data they need to understand which content drives engagement and donations.
